To prepare the plant site and provide civil, structural and architectural related works on EPC basis for the Al-Khalij 4×350 MW Thermal Power Plant.

2×35 MW Natural Gas Fired Simple Cycle Power Plant is implemented on a turnkey basis.
The Power Plant provides electrical power to be used by the onshore processing facility. The equipments are mainly; 2 nos GE 6B Gas Turbines, 3 nos Essential Diesel Generators, Power Generation Building, Essential Diesel Generator Building, Step up Transformers, 35/10/0,7/0,4 kV Switchgears and DCS.
This project is undertaken and executed by GATE İnşaat Taahhüt San. ve Tes. A.Ş., a subsidiary of GAMA with %50 share.
GAMA performed mechanical erection of 3×400 MW boilers, 3 pcs. electrostatic filter, 3 pcs. ash handling system and tagging works.
As a consortium partner of main contractor Alstom in 2×338 MW power plant, execution of all civil works and mechanical works in BOP.
Tekfen – GAMA (TGO) executed all civil works of the power plant, and BOP mechanical works (all mechanical works excluded from units), piping, HVAC and FF works.
Mechanical erection of 3×600 MW boilers, 3 pcs. electrostatic filter, 1 pcs. ash handling system and 1 pcs. auxiliary boiler including paint touch-up works are implemented.
Execution of all civil works, steel structure, mechanical, electrical erection, piping, instrumentation, painting and insulation works of 238 MW natural gas fired combined cycle power plant composed of 4×42 MW gas turbines and 2×35 MW steam turbines for the power supply for Trench 1 and 2 of Kashagan Petroleum Area.

GAMA performed Mechanical Erection Works for the 6 fuel oil fired Boilers, Electrostatic Precipitators and Ash Disposal System of the (3+3) x 380 MW Shoaiba Power Plant Units 6 to 11.
Total Erection Weight is 49,572 tons for 6 Units.
Complete civil works, manufacturing and installation of GT building and pipe racks steel structure, complete mechanical, electrical and instrumentation installation, provision and operation of camp and office facilities for Alstom staff.
Construction of 4×360 MW conventional type lignite fired Power Plant on turn-key basis, including all ancillary units and the flue gas desulphurization plant.
GAMA – Tekfen – Tokar JV (GAMA is the leader with its 40% share) is responsible for the construction and erection of boilers and bunkers, coal stock yard and coal handling system, stacks (2 each, 150 m), flue gas desulphurization plant, storm water system, roads, walkways, fencing and auxiliary buildings (workshop, warehouses, mill repairshop, operation building, cafeteria) of the plant.
The project consists of turn-key construction of two units of imported coal fired steam boilers and turbine generator sets with a total capacity of 1320 MW electric power (2×660 MW) including coal handling system, flue gas desulphurization plant, sea water cooling handling system, coal unloading jetty, stack and other auxiliary units.
GAMA – Tekfen Joint Venture was responsible for the construction of the plant, including the coal unloading jetty.
